Bandhaye Pezeshki Iran BPI (PJSC) was established in 1983 with the aim of producing and distributing medical disposable items (surgical, orthopedic and hygienic). Our first products were the Plaster of Paris Bandage and Undercast Padding Bandage, which to this day, we continue to be the foremost provider in the country. Additionally, BPI is the first manufacturer of the aforementioned products and exporter of medical disposable items in Iran.
In 1998, BPI was honored with “The first exporter of Medical disposable items (orthopedic) in Iran” plaque by the then president of the country. In the year 2000 we attained the CE marking while meeting all EU-wide requirements and have since continued to be a successful exporter to countries including the UK, Egypt, Sudan, Kuwait, Oman, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Taiwan, Malaysia, Armenia, Azerbaijan and the United Arab Emirates.
BPI has maintained a strong and constant presence in the medical society both domestically and internationally. We have displayed our products in exhibitions such as Iran Health, Arab Health and have also participated in MEDICA Trade Fair- the world’s leading and number one platform for medical suppliers- for a decade since 1992.
BPI conforms to international Quality standards and is certified with ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management) and ISO 13485:2016 (Medical devices- Quality Management Systems). In 2009, our laboratories were accredited by the Iranian National Standards Organization in order to test and approve the quality of other manufacturers’ products. Furthermore, BPI was the recipient of the “Exemplary Manufacturer in Industrial and Medical Supplies” award in two consecutive years of 2009 and 2010 in Iran.
